Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon by Richard Stone Box

This prestige enamel box depicts Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret as painted by famed Royal portraitist Richard Stone at Kensington Palace in the summer of 1981.

On inspection of Stone’s sketches, the Princess commented “Mr Stone, as you know, I have been suffering from the flu for the past two weeks, and I think you’ve caught it”. However, years later the Princess came round to this picture requesting a study from the artist.

The handcrafted box features a Royal blue base and navy leather lining.
