Description

Inspired by the much-admired coffered ceiling of the Chapel Royal, St Jame’s Palace, this magnificent musical box is a true work of art.

Commissioned by Henry the VII and decorated by Hans Holbein to commemorate the kings fourth marriage to Anne of Cleves, the ceiling is celebrated as a Tudor masterpiece, showcasing Holbein’s brilliance as one of the greatest portraitists of the 16th century.

The intricate patterns and vibrant colours of the original ceiling have been meticulously reproduced in this exquisite design. Upon opening the box, you are serenaded by the notes of Handel’s ‘Zadoc the Priest’.

This piece is limited to an edition of 100 and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
