This teacup and saucer created by Halcyon Days, exclusively for Glyndebourne, a collection of luxury, English-made creations celebrating original David Hockney designs from the 1975 Glyndebourne production of ‘The Rake’s Progress’.
Commissioned by Glyndebourne, Halcyon Days worked closely with Hockney Studio to form an exquisite range inspired by an original recording of the opera, conducted by Igor Stravinsky, and William Hogarth’s series of eight paintings and engravings of the same name.
Gilded with 24ct gold.
