'Bottlescape' By Churchill Mug
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the death of Sir Winston Churchill, Halcyon Days has collaborated with the National Trust to proudly present a range of products depicting this extraordinary man's love of painting.
Created in 1932, 'Bottlescape', gives a sense of Churchill's fun-loving nature. "I have taken more out of alcohol than alcohol has taken out of me", is a quote frequently attributed to the wartime leader and one that accurately explains the gargantuan bottle of brandy and multiple cigar cases flanking one side of the 'Bottlescape' itself.
This exquisite picture has been reproduced by our artists onto English fine bone china to create both a beautiful mug and a fitting tribute to our astonishing former leader.
Gilded with 24ct gold.
