Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Our warehouse despatches on Monday to Friday.  Please note that we can manufacture to order and will always have a skilled artist to work on personalised items.

All orders are sent using a tracked courier service for your convenience and security. You will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number when your order has been dispatched.

You can also find your tracking information in the order section of your Halcyon Days account.

We use the following couriers for UK and International deliverires:

UK - APC couriers

International - Fedex

Please contact the couriers directly and quote your tracking number should you wish to monitor the movements of your order. This can also be done online, please see links below.

Should you require a different delievery method, this can be arranged using Royal Mail but must be requested by the customer when the order is placed. It is the customer's responsability to inform Halcyon Days of any specific delivery requirements. Shipping methods cannot be amended if the order has already been dispatched.

Please allow the following delivery times for orders made online:

Standard delivery for UK Mainland - within 3 - 5 working days after the order has been placed if the item is in stock and is not made to order.

A next working day delivery service is available for UK Mainland orders if the order is placed before 1pm and the item is in stock and is not made to order.

Delivery for the USA - within 5 - 7 working days after the order has been placed, if the item is in stock and is not made to order. 

Delivery for the for Rest of World - delivery can be expected within 5 - 7 working days after the order has been placed, if the item is in stock and is not made to order. 

For personalised items, please allow a further 5 days on top of the delivery times above, to allow for hand painting or individual kiln firing. Please note this will be put on the system as 'back ordered' while your piece is personalised. 

If the package is recieved by the customer. We do not take responsability for a delay in delivery if the package has been undeliverable. If the parcel is unable to be delivered, the courier will leave a card with details of how to receive your order. 

We run a strict no refund policy on shipping costs.

Postage & Packing

The following charges apply to the price of goods as printed in our catalogue and include insurance against loss or damage in the post. Please note that charges are for despatch to one address; for multiple destinations P & P will be assessed for each parcel.

Orders outside the EU

Orders outside of the EU ship free of Sales Tax.  There may however be local import duties, for which Halcyon Days will not be responsible.  Duty rates and personal import limits vary by country. A local customs website will advise these for your region.

Halcyon Days reserves the right to deliver Sale goods without branded packaging. Fine bone china will be delivered in white branded packaging, bangles will be delivered in pouches only and all sale enamels will be delivered in lid on base boxes. 

Returns Policy

We have every confidence that you will be completely satisfied with our products, but if for any reason you are not, please follow the guidelines below:

  • Faulty Goods – If the item is faulty in any way, please return it to us within 30 days on receipt of purchase date and we will offer a full refund against the original method of payment within 14 days of receipt of the product. 

  • Sale goods - There is a strictly NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE POLICY on sale products

  • Personalised items – There is a strictly NO REFUND POLICY on personalised items.
  • Dated items – There is a strictly NO REFUND POLICY on dated items.
  • Products bought from a third party seller - There is a strictly NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE POLICY against goods which have not been purchased from either www.halcyondays.co.uk or within our own retail store.
  • Exchange Policy – We will exchange items if they are returned within 30 days on receipt of purchase date, providing they are in the original packaging and in a fully saleable condition. You must also provide the proof of purchase. If no suitable exchange item is immediately available, we will offer instore/online credit or gift vouchers only.

Goods can be returned by post to our northern warehouse. For postage returns please include a note explaining the reason for the return. Except when due to manufacturing faults all shipping costs for returns will be covered by the customer. Please see the FAQ page for more detail.

Please ensure that the returned parcel is properly sealed. For your protection, we recommend that when returning products back to us you use a recorded delivery service i.e. a service that provides a tracking. We cannot provide credit for packages lost during return shipment if tracking or proof of delivery is unavailable. We do not accept liability for returned goods lost in transit.

We run a strict no refund policy on shipping costs.

Except in instances where the item delivered was in error or was faulty or damaged, the customer is responsible for the expense of returning the goods to us. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS. If you are returning an item from overseas then please call our Customer Services team for further advice on +44 (0) 207 514 5453.

Upon receipt of the product(s) in the original condition we will issue a refund within 14 days for the amount charged for the product to the credit card used to place the order.

Please contact our Customer Service team or pop into our London store to discuss any repairs which your well-loved enamels may require, this includes the replacement of a mount or repolishing of the enamel. We are happy to provide a quote in order to keep your products looking as beautiful as the day when they were acquired!
